Le Festival International de Carthage (FIC) a tenu, mercredi 04 juillet 2018, au Théâtre des régions à la Cité de la Culture de Tunis, une conférence de presse en présence d’un très grand nombre de représentants de la presse nationale et étrangère au cours de laquelle le programme de sa 54ème édition qui s’étale du 13 juillet au 15 août 2018 a été dévoilé.
Dans une ambiance agréable et avec des moyens technologiques interactifs, M. Mokhtar Rassaâ, directeur du Festival international de Carthage, a ouvert cet évènement très attendu en rappelant d’emblée la dimension particulière du Festival de Carthage le plus important du monde arabe, de la méditerranée et dont la scène a vu défiler les plus grands artistes du monde.
Le directeur du Festival international de Carthage a indiqué que cette nouvelle édition se veut « spéciale et exclusive » marquée notamment par le retour de la diva tunisienne « Amina Fakhet », après 10 ans d’absence, les 21 et 24 juillet 2018 ainsi que par deux spectacles produits par le festival.
« Le festival se veut aussi une plateforme multidisciplinaire ouverte sur les autres cultures du monde » a- t-il fait savoir en citant « de Carthage à Ichbilia », une production spéciale du festival signée par Mohamed Lassoued avec la participation de Zied Gharsa et Dorsaf Hamdani (Tunisie), Abir El Abed (Maroc), Abbes Rigui (Algérie) et Maria Marina (Espagne).
Le directeur du festival a précisé que la clôture (17 aout) sera marquée, elle aussi, par une production du festival intitulée « 24 parfums », un méga spectacle conçu et réalisé par Mohamed Ali Kammoun et qui réunira des artistes des 24 régions tunisiennes avec la participation de l’Orchestre et Chœur de l’Opéra de Tunis ».
Le directeur du festival a déclaré que le public sera au rendez-vous avec l’humoriste Jamel Debbouze à l’affiche de la comédie “ALAD’2” qui revient après 6 ans d’absence à la scène de Carthage avec son spectacle “Maintenant ou Jamel » exclusivement pour Carthage.
La scène du Théâtre romain de Carthage accueillera, lors de cette session, le célèbre groupe « 100 voix du Gospel » qui présentera une soirée d’exception. Le groupe de Rock Métal « Myrath » quant à lui présentera une soirée exclusive pour Carthage avec la participation de l’Orchestre National Tunisien sous la direction de Mohamed Lassoued.
La 54ème édition du festival est ouverte sur toutes les expressions musicales et propose des spectacles de musique soufie, du malouf, un spectacle musical de patrimoine revisité, un spectacle de stand up, un spectacle de musique métal, deux spectacles de musique engagée, un spectacle de musique tunisienne nouvelle vague, deux opéra (Aida et Hassen Doss) et 6 variétés.
Un hommage à l’icône du Théâtre Raja Ben Ammar
Le directeur a dévoilé, par ailleurs, le programme de l’espace Mad’Art Carthage qui propose une programmation spéciale en hommage à Raja Ben Ammar du 17 juillet au samedi 11 août 2018 :10 spectacles tunisiens, un suisse et un français, trois spectacles de danse, six spectacles de théâtre et spectacle de marionnette, deux spectacles de danse- cirque , une coproduction avec le centre des arts dramatiques et scéniques de Kasserine en première et la pièce « Radeau » de Cyrine Gannoun , en partenariat avec le Festival de Carthage.
Monsieur Mokhtar Rassaâ a par ailleurs fait savoir que la 54ème édition du festival propose une programmation cinématographique spéciale avec la projection d’une série de longs métrages à grand succès au bonheur les cinéphiles.
En prenant la parole au début de cette conférence de presse M. Chaker Chikhi Directeur général de l’Etablissement national pour la promotion des festivals et manifestations culturelles et artistiques a salué les journalistes présents pour leur présence massive et leur engagement à la promotion de la culture en Tunisie.
A cette occasion il a mis en exergue les actions menées par l’Etablissement national pour la promotion des festivals et manifestations culturelles et artistiques depuis sa récente création et rappelant que cette institution n’interfère pas dans les choix artistiques des festivals sous tutelles du département de la culture mais s’attèle à assurer leur équilibres financiers.
